New guidelines have come into place to help ease the back log of patient appointments caused by COVID-19 and previous lockdowns.
When not to attend
Do not attend if you have a suspected respiratory infection such as:
Common cold (head cold), the mild Flu, Flu, tonsillitis, laryngitis, COVID-19 or sinus infection.
The most common respiratory infection symptom is a cough. Lung infections may also lead to a stuffy or runny noses, sore throats, sneezing, achy muscles, and headaches.
Do not attend the practice if you have any of the above symptoms. Your appointment will be delayed.
The usual COVID-19 Screen Questions will still apply.
- Do not attend the practice if you answer yes to any of the following questions:
- Do you have a temperature, new continuous cough, a loss or alteration to taste or smell?
- Have you or anyone in your household had a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 in the past 10 days or waiting on a PCR test result?
